Dr Joe completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training in Queensland with training at Cairns Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and QEII Jubilee Hospital. Dr Joe has experience and training in management of inflammatory bowel disease and all areas of general gastroenterology. He takes a special interest in providing quality upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy and bowel cancer prevention and he is fully accredited by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr Joe also proudly holds a public appointment as Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at Cairns Base Hospital.

Dr Chaw Han is a Gastroenterologist with an interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Motility Disorders and high-quality Endoscopy and Colonoscopy including Bowel Cancer screening. She obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Queensland and subsequently completed Basic Physician Training at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney. She then completed Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialty training in Queensland at the Princess Alexandra, Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee, Townsville and Gold Coast University Hospitals. She is now happy to call Cairns home and holds an appointment as a Staff Gastroenterologist at the Cairns Base Hospital.
